Having had quite a bit of demand for a photowalk, I am pleased to finally announce that I’m organising a meet up on Friday, Feb 12th 2016 for some hands on experience of portrait and street photography whilst exploring Souq Waqif.
The group will be limited to 10 students and total cost for two hours is 150QR. All levels are welcome but the walk is aimed more at beginners who have recently taken a beginner’s class and want to consolidate their learning and put their skills into practice.
What do you need?
DSLR camera, one or two SD memory cards (at least 8gb if you are shooting RAW/Large files), fully charged battery. A basic kit lens is fine but if you have other lenses please bring them along. Prime lenses are especially suited to street photography because of their inconspicuous nature and light weight.
What will be covered in the two hours?
The photowalk will consist of advice on composition, recognising good light, choosing appropriate settings for particular situations, privacy considerations when shooting in public, identifying good backdrops for portrait photography and equipment.
You will also have a checklist of shots to complete during the two hours.
Please feel free to contact me at 33376639 or through my website www.trishaclancy.com or my Facebook Page TrishaClancyPhotography to secure your place. Payment must be made in full before the start of the session to confirm your place.
